How does sync work between parents and caregivers?
Every signed-in account is backed up to the cloud for free, so your data survives a new phone and stays in step across your own devices. With Premium you can invite your partner, grandparents or a nanny by their @username, and every dose they log shows up on everyone's phone instantly.
Can my daycare or babysitter use Parenty?
Yes. With Premium, go to Settings → Account → Daycare access and invite them by their daycare username, or scan the QR code they show you. Choose which children they see and for how long: 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year or until you remove them. They see those children's medicines with when the last dose was given and when the next one is allowed, and can log doses, temperatures, symptoms, growth and the day itself: meals, drinks, naps, diapers, potty, mood and notes. You see it on Home as “Today at” your daycare, every entry shows who logged it, and you can extend or end access any time.
What can a daycare see?
Only the children you chose and their medicines, with when the last dose was given and when the next one is allowed: not who gave it, and no notes. A daycare never sees your own temperatures, symptoms, growth, doctor visits, reports or notes, and can't add, change or delete your medicines or children. Daycare mode keeps nothing about your family on the daycare's phone, and access stops on the date you chose.
I run a daycare. How do I use Daycare mode?
Create a free account, then switch to Daycare mode: tap the title at the top of the screen, or go to Settings → App mode. Set up your daycare's name and username, then give parents the username or show them your QR code. Families see your daycare's name, never your personal account. A free daycare can look after one family invited by a Premium parent; Parenty Daycare (€9.99 a month or €99.99 a year) is for as many families as you look after and includes Premium for your own family. Daycare mode needs an internet connection.
Can I manage multiple children?
Yes. Each child gets their own colour-coded profile, and you can filter medicines, temperatures, symptoms and doctor visits per child. The free plan includes one child profile; Premium unlocks unlimited profiles.
What's included for free?
Medicine and dose tracking, reminders, temperature and symptom logs, one child profile, one doctor with two visits, and cloud backup. Premium adds family sharing, unlimited profiles and doctors, PDF reports, fever charts and alarm settings.
Can I use Parenty with Siri or my Android assistant?
Yes. On iPhone, say things like “Log Ibuprofen in Parenty” or “What's due next in Parenty?” to Siri; no setup needed. On Android 16 and later, assistants that support app actions can log doses, temperatures, weight and height and check what's due. Parenty still warns you about a dose that's too early, and everything is shared with your family as usual.
Go to Profile settings and choose Delete Account. Your account and its cloud data are removed.
Notifications aren't appearing. What should I check?
Make sure notifications are allowed for Parenty in your phone's settings, that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them, and that you're on the latest version of the app.
